MALOUMIAN ORIENTAL RUGS RETURNS TO GERMANTOWN AVENUE

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, September 7, 2012, - After more than a decade, Maloumian Oriental Rugs is proud to announce its return to Germantown Avenue with the grand opening of our new Kilim Rug Gallery on September 1st, 2012.   A third generation family owned business; Maloumian Oriental Rugs is the preeminent retailer of antique, semi-antique, and modern Oriental Rugs in the Delaware Valley. 

"We are truly thrilled to be returning to Germantown Avenue  with the Grand Opening of our Gallery,  Said Roy Maloumian, President of Maloumian Oriental Rugs. “My father and grandfather operated their first stores in Germantown nearly 100 years ago, and I am proud to continue our families’ rich tradition.

“Our new Kilim Gallery will be unique in that it will offer decorative Kilims and Kilim accessories exclusively at affordable prices.”  Explained Maloumian. “We have always enjoyed passing our savings on to our customers, this is something our clients have always appreciated, and is something we have always been proud to do.” 

 Maloumian’s will also continue to provide our clientele with the premier restoration and cleaning services they’ve come to expect.  We are also proud to announce that Jeffrey Dean, a highly regarded Philadelphia interior designer will be onsite at our new location on Monday’s and Tuesday to aid our customers with all their design needs.”  Said Maloumian.  “Maloumian’s is truly thrilled to be back on Germantown Avenue, and we are looking forward to the future and opening additional locations in Center City, Bucks County, and the Main Line.”

In January 2012, Maloumian Oriental Rugs entered into an agreement with Robb & Stucky International to operate and manage their Oriental rug showroom inside its brand new 60,000 square-foot furniture and design center in Ft. Myers.

From December of 2012 through 2013, Maloumian will continue to expand its partnership with Robb & Stucky by opening four additional showrooms in Naples, Sarasota, Boca Raton, and Miami Florida.
